Positive pregnancy test Ask Radiology Doctor
Made for just over weeks ago a CT scan of the lungs, and made before a grav.test since I could not rule out pregnancy. The test was negative and X-ray was performed. Today made a new grav.test which was positive. Is there any chance that I röntagdes during very early (approx 1v) pregnancy?
There is no problem to investigate the lungs with CT (computed tomography) if you are pregnant. The radiation that can meet the fetus / embryo is called a scattered X-rays. This radiation has low energy and effectively stopped by the woman's own tissue before it reaches the fetus / embryo.
