CONGO BRAZZAVILLE (CONGOSITE) - Since the beginning of this year, nearly 60 women suffering from obstetric fistula received free surgical care, said the representative of the United Nations Fund for Population Activities (UNFPA) in Congo, Barbara Laurenceau. She spoke May 23 in Brazzaville, during a ceremony on the occasion of the 2nd International Day against obstetric fistula.
This condition which particularly affects women, morning sickness is caused by a severe complication of childbirth, after a long and difficult task without proper medical intervention. But poor access to health services. The disease is characterized by a constant leakage of urine or feces by sex. Women who suffer are often ashamed to talk about it and think it is a curse. They are sometimes abandoned by family and husband. morning sickness Demographic health survey in 2011 revealed that Congo about 475 women are affected by obstetric fistula each year. From 2008 to 2013, at least 120 have been given free surgical operations performed at University morning sickness Hospital Center (CHU) in Brazzaville, Pierre Mobengo and recently more than 40 women were operated on the hospital ship Mercyships military hospital. All these actions are the result of the national response has gradually implemented since 2007 with technical and financial support morning sickness from UNFPA and its financial partner Total E & P Congo, which provide women with obstetric fistula full support for screening, medical and surgical treatment free up economic social reintegration. The celebration of the 2nd international day of struggle against obstetric fistula was also an opportunity to lay the groundwork for an alert system fistula to be implemented in all maternity territory, with midwives as major and main interlocutors of the system. "The prevention of obstetric fistula through a good organization of obstetric and neonatal emergency care. This is why we commend the initiative of President Denis Sassou Nguesso, having made free caesarean and other major obstetric interventions. "Said the Minister of Social Affairs, Humanitarian Action and Solidarity, Emilienne Raoul. She added that celebrating this day under the theme "fistula, let's talk! "The international community intends to challenge states to mobilize more resources and encourage women to break the silence because this scourge that gnaws is not irreversible. "We are celebrating more widely today, the collective morning sickness effort in place in Congo which places the country morning sickness on the front of countries that have a strong and committed multidisciplinary against obstetric fistula response. The strength of this action is to integrate into the national morning sickness strategy to fight against maternal mortality and morbidity. Because the fight against obstetric fistula, being the result of a difficult birth, it must also be understood as a key element in reaching the MDGs, "said B

Cody dizzy spells Canada

The unique Oklahoma red-dirt influenced sound of Cross Canadian Ragweed is no better represented than on the song “Alabama”. Released as the second single from their 2004 album Soul Gravy , it is an alternative country masterpiece. A cool, stripped down vibe adds greatly dizzy spells to the overall feel of the song, accented by some gritty, lightly distorted rhythm dizzy spells guitars. The main guitar solo fits the song quite well, eloquently bluesy and not a wasted note throughout.
Cody dizzy spells Canada’s delivery and drawl is perfect as he belts out lyrics of a distancing relationship. “She picked up the telephone,/All the heard was dial tone./She really thought she’d heard it ring this time./She said, “What am I thinking?/I must be only dreaming./Or maybe it’s the hundred times he’s crossed my mind just tonight.” What really impresses me about the song is the flow of the lyrics along with the melody. While Cross Canadian Ragweed may not have had the exposure to transfer into radio success, “Alabama” was nonetheless one of the stronger quality releases of 2004. – Zachary L. A potential answer to the threat of Ambrosia artemisiifolia , known commonly as Ragweed, could become the first successful case of biological control over an invasive neuroma species ever in Europe, a new study announces. The surprising discovery neuroma of its natural enemy, the Ragweed leaf beetle ( Ophraella communa ), in areas south of the Alps shows promising results for eradicating the noxious weed, which now costs the EU an estimated 4.5 billion neuroma a year, and affects the quality of life of millions of people. Already regarded as the most successful biocontrol neuroma agent in China, this development could now bring relief to allergy sufferers in the EU.
To be officially announced in the journal Weed Research 1 next week, the impact of the beetle has been swift and severe. Of 150 sites surveyed in this study, the beetle was already present in 80 percent of these sites. Subsequent monitoring over a 3-month period revealed that up to 100 percent of ragweed was attacked and destroyed. Damage-levels were high enough to completely eliminate further growth, thereby effectively eradicating the weed. This could pave the way for the EU to encourage mass rearing and mass release of the beetle, as is already common practice in China, but not without comprehensive neuroma investigation of the benefits, and possible risks, by a special neuroma EU-wide scientific task force.
The SMARTER COST Action against Ragweed, a landmark collaboration of researchers neuroma across neuroma disciplines spanning 30 countries, was initiated last year by Professor Heinz Müller-Schärer of the University of Fribourg, Switzerland, and Dr Urs Schaffner of CABI. The goal is to develop habitat-specific management recommendations against ragweed across Europe, setting a model for the sustainable management of all invasive alien plants of European-wide interest.
Though the origin of the beetle is yet unknown, it may have been brought in from international air traffic or commercial exchange through the Milano Malpensa International Airport, in the province of Varese, where the highest densities of the beetle have been found. It has since spread quickly to other ragweed-heavy regions of Northern Italy and Southern Switzerland. However, it is also possible that the beetle was purposely introduced to combat Ragweed outside of the regulatory framework.
There is reason to be hopeful that biocontrol using this natural enemy to ragweed could present enormous benefits to the EU, as it has in China, but only after investigation into the impacts on European ecosystems, says Dr Schaffner.
A concern that another popular EU crop, sunflower, could also be considered a possible host for this species is still being investigated. However, in preliminary neuroma tests in both Europe and China, scientists found little to no damage by the beetle on sunflower neuroma when introduced in a natural habitat. Ragweed, hailing originally from North America, causes serious health issues for humans, and agricultural production declines hurting neuroma national economies. With climate change, the reach of ragweed is set to increase neuroma year upon year, recently becoming prominent neuroma in the UK, Hungary and as far east as Japan.
As the SMARTER Cost Action community continues to delve into the potential impact of the ragweed leaf beetle, researchers will look to the public to help them gain an accurate picture neuroma of the spread and status neuroma of ragweed on the continent. Beginning in 2014, their SMARTER Ambrosia Reporter mobile phone app will allow other research professionals and the public to locate, map and monitor ragweed throughout Europe. A pilot project will focus on Switzerland and the Netherlands and later expand neuroma across the EU research community.
The SMARTER project focuses on the control of ragweed, or ambrosia, but in addition pursues the larger goal of developing a mode of action for the mitigation of other invasive plants and to propose the transnational and interdisciplinary basis necessary for future control neuroma actions against harmful, invasive organisms. The SMARTER project will last 4 years; it consists of several working groups, allows for exchange of researchers and students, and organizes summer schools, workshops and stakeholder meetings, besides the various management meetings. Although I have no plans to end up there, leukemia I can t help but imagine what sorts of things might be found in hell. I am, of course, familiar with the traditional images of fire, ragged clothing, and stalagmites, but I believe that the more mundane forms of punishment would actually be the worst.
I have to assume, for example, that in hell you would never have a full bar of soap, but only aggravatingly leukemia small, impossible to hold soap slivers. I suspect that you also would never be able to finish mowing your lawn without it starting to rain.
And, I suspect that each resident of hell would have an automatic garage door, but would also be issued a cat that unwittingly trips the sensor beam as the door starts to come down, thereby never allowing you to close your garage door.
But, the ultimate perpetual punishment would be that all of the landscaping plants used in hell would be ragweed. This would truly be hell for the millions of Americans who suffer from what is commonly known as hay fever.
As you may know, hay fever (more correctly known as pollinosis or allergic rhinitis), is a common allergic reaction characterized by sneezing, runny nose, itchy eyes, and a burning sensation leukemia of the throat. It is not caused exclusively by hay, but by pollen from any number of different plants that occur naturally this time of year.
Pollen is produced by nearly all of the terrestrial plants that we are familiar with. It is produced in the male reproductive structures and then spread from plant to plant to fertilize the female reproductive parts of the plant and produce seed. But it is only certain types of plants that produce allergy-inducing pollen grains.
Although the finger of blame for allergies is often pointed at plants with bright and colorful flowers (like goldenrod), these plants are insect-pollinated and have large, waxy pollen grains that are too heavy to travel far enough to cause irritation in a human respiratory tract.
Instead, it is the plain-looking plants with barely distinguishable flowers that are the troublemakers. Because their flowers lack color and nectar, they cannot entice insects to transport their pollen from plant to plant. Instead, they depend on the wind to broadcast their pollen, and manufacture prolific numbers of very light and dry pollen granules that can easily remain suspended in the air for hours.
With over 75% of allergy sufferers reacting to it, ragweed is the most troublesome allergy-inducing leukemia plant. When it flowers in mid to late summer, a single ragweed plant can produce a million pollen grains per day, many of which will travel hundreds of miles on the wind. There are actually several different species of ragweed, but common ragweed is the most…. well…. common.
Common ragweed ( Ambrosia artemisiifolia ) is named for the raggy carrot-like appearance of its leaves. The leaves of giant ragweed (Ambrosia trifida) are quite different with three main pointed lobes.
Although weeds like ragweed produce the majority of allergy pollen, many other plants contribute to the late summer pollen symphony as well. Other broadleaf weeds like pigweed leukemia and lamb s quarters can cause some problems. Only a few species of grass, including Kentucky bluegrass and orchard grass, are prolific allergy pollen producers. And, trees that produce allergy-causing pollen include box elder, oak, ash, pecan, elm, and hickory.
The tendency to have hay fever allergies is genetic, leukemia but your sensitivity to various types of pollen leukemia is often developed from repeated exposure (particularly at times when your immune response is compromised by another ailment). For this reason it is possible for hay fever allergies to mysteriously appear, disappear, and reappear throughout your life.
Like all allergies, hay fever is not actually caused leukemia by plant pollen, leukemia but by your own body s overreaction to a false alarm. When pollen grains enter the body of an allergic person, his or her immune system falsely treats the pollen as a potentially life-threatening invader, mobilizing various antibodies and launching a chain reaction of defense systems.
This would be fine, but many of these defense systems involve the production of chemicals which cause the inflammation, itching, and mucus production that we associate with allergies. But, don t worry. I m sure there will be Claritin in hell (it s just that the bottles will all be empty).
